The redevelopment of Ford Airfield is being promoted by a partnership between all the landowners, Wates Developments and Redrow Homes. The partnership is known as the Ford Airfield Vision Group (FAVG).

A second proposal for an Eco-town at Ford Airfield has been submitted to the Government by the Ford Enterprise Hub.

The Ford Airfield Vision Group and the Ford Enterprise Hub have refined their proposals to a single bid, sharing a vision of a new settlement at Ford, combined with a major opportunity for new jobs and services that will benefit the town and the surrounding area.
